Online Midwifery Meeting: Midwifery in Pakistan

I am thrilled to announce an online meeting on Friday, 27 June 2008 at 4:00 p.m (NZ) which is being led by Associate Professor Rafat Jan Rukanuddin.

Rafat is currently working on developing a proposal for the first direct entry midwifery degree program in Pakistan, which is sorely needed as one way of combating poor maternal and neonatal mortality rates.

Hello there

I have checked out the link and it seems to be working for me. Have you downloaded the Java Webstart software that you need to be able to use Elluminate?

I don't really know what else to suggest at the moment-I'll get onto the technical men where I work and see if they have any suggestions and get back to you tomorrow.

If you contact Ange: ange@tekotago.ac.nz
she will do her best to help you sort things out. Just be mindful that she will only be available to do that 8am - 5pm NZ time

thank you, Sarah
